Server list URL is invalid

This doesn’t work. It says “not found”: cfx.re/join/5p4q9d

It has been like this for months actually. The “Join FiveM” link on this website’s header simply doesn’t work. Joining from the server list results in connection timeouts as the client gets stuck in the slow content manifest download process. I have no problem connecting to other servers, but i99 only works with a VPN.

I’ve also noticed this a few times and I’ve just talked to the main FiveM developer about this, and there’s nothing wrong on our side that causes this. It’s something to do with their backend getting attacked a lot which breaks it until the server is restarted. So right now the only ‘fix’ we can do is to more often restart the server.

This shouldn’t be an issue except maybe occasionally at peak times at 650+ players (around 7-11 pm CET). Downloads are cached by CloudFlare so they should be plenty fast 99% of the time.

Connection works for me after a server restart, yes. It stops working later on, usually at the evening, which is when i get the slow manifest download issue. Everything works fine as long as the cfx URL is live.

Just an update on this. It seems the cfx url is fixed now. I haven’t caught any errors with it in the past weeks.

I still get the slow content manifest download issue, though, so it’s unrelated. It works for a few hours after a server restart, then at some point through the day i can’t connect anymore. Surely i can’t be the only one facing this issue.
